Any libido I had just evaporated into thin air and I wanted to be anywhere else. Full-on shaking like I'm freezing and probably on the verge of a panic attack or something, which isn't anything I've ever dealt with in any other capacity. Felt so emasculating and embarrassing, like wtf is wrong with me? I don't think I'm asexual. I have a libido and I'm attracted to/crush on women, but the thought of actually being intimate with someone else just feels so wrong and awful. I don't know if these are feelings I need to accept or things I need to work through, and I don't know how to go about doing either of those. But it must feel so nice to fall in love and to be able to do these kinds of things like they're just normal, everyday things. The closest I ever got to intimacy it was a similar situation. If you spend your whole life coming to terms with the idea that you need to reject or even hate the part of you that sees yourself as deserving of intimacy (because you are chronically alone and have to cope), that kind of stuff isn't going to be something you can just drop. The trauma isn't the opportunity towards intimacy, it's the lifetime before that which told you that you deserve to be alone and you need to accept that.
