Does thinking of a game make you remember other things? Or do other things make you remember specific games?

For me it's mostly music cause I used to listen to the radio/CDs when I was in middle school and super into SNES/Genesis emulation. Can't hear any of these songs/bands/albums without seeing a certain game in my head.

Shining Force II - A Perfect Circle (specifically the song Orestes)
Terranigma - Incubus (mostly wish you were here, but that album as a whole)
Lufia 2 - Blink 182 (mostly just what's my age again, and specifically the ancient cave section of the game)
Seiken Densetsu 3 - Prodigy (fat of the land as an album, but the song diesel power in particular, and the part of the game where you're on a mountain fighting harpies)
