I got 100% items last night. I think its cool how people are figuring out different ways to do some of the speed booster puzzles. Like this one (dont watch if you want to try to figure it out yourself). I did it in a way that was way harder than it needed to be, with really tight timing, but if I had known you could do it like this itd have probably only taken a few tries.

Why did they make it way more complicated than need be? All you need is the cross bomb to get you across the pitfall blocks.

The timing with the cross bombs is really tight, the speed boost will likely run out before you can cross bomb then bomb the path up. Thats how I did it, the video looks way easier tbh

Storm Missiles apparently work pretty well.

I watched a YouTube video of someone doing all the bosses without any item expansions, and without taking damage. Some of the tricks they do are things I never thought to try. But they did use the Storm Missiles a lot.

Also the OCD in me is a little annoyed by the lack of name consistency from one game to the next. The Storm Missile is basically the Seeker Missile from Prime 2.

I think of them as two very similar but ultimately different things. One fires a max of five missiles that seek out their target, the other is a "storm" of missiles.

It also bugged me how the Nova Beam in Prime 3 is green like the 2D Plasma Beam always is

That fight killed me more than any other in the game, final boss included.

Those guys kicked my ass for so long. And then I realized its actually very easy to charge up the 5 storm missles, and they destroy those guys pretty fast and it was easy peasy.

I think the idea they wished to make sure to demonstrate to the player there is while you cant gain vertical height underwater, you have infinite horizontal clearance now.

Whe you get the gravity suit I think its the most freeing feeling. Like God yes finally.

True. There's definitely a lot of "hey, check out what your new ability can do" in this game. Like when you first unlock spin boost, you literally can't leave the area without using it underwater for extra horizontal distance. I admit to being stuck there for a while and feeling stupid afterwards lol.

After the first two fights, I never had an issue with them again, even with 2 of them. They separate from each other well enough, and don't act in concert to trap and attack you. Storm missiles all day e'ryday.

I thought there were only two phases, but after hours of struggling, boom, phase three. It barely lasted 20 seconds after that.

Beat the final boss, he was hard as fuck! The ending was really weird and I'm not even sure what was happening but whatever

On the results screen it said I took 10+ hours to beat and all Samus did was look at me through her helmet before cutting to black. Come on!! I wanna see some big ol' Samus titties in a tight suit for my reward! >_> What do I have to do to see that!?

i did die a few times against the final boss but it should be noted that you can counter several of its attacks for a ton of damage (and healing) which made it, imo, easier than some of the other bosses

I think I died more against the elite chozo warrior right before it

There isn't any overt reference to the manga which is not considered fully canon anyway. It's just general knowledge about the character that everyone knows, but I was saying it isn't in any of the games proper before Dread brings it up. You don't have to have read a page of the manga to get anything Dread is going for.

For reference, you have to unlock all the ending pictures in order to get a pic of suitless Samus. It just requires beating both Normal and Hard difficulties in under 4 hours each.

Fortunately they don't require you to get 100% completion. Just beat the game in that time frame.

Yeah. The item completion is instead for unlocking the Chozo Archives artwork. I'm grateful the unlocks are separate, lol.

On my replay I noticed the first line out of Adams mouth is him calling her Samus, not Lady.

Invisible scorpion guy got me good. Wasn't expecting that.
Time to see if there's any e-tanks I've missed.

It's also funny seeing the line "You cannot defeat the EMMIs in your current state. Accept your helplessness." knowing that it's not actually Adam. First time playing I saw that line and was like "Gee thanks."

There's a weirdly large amount of bullshit one-way paths designed into the game and I don't know why. Or where you open a path and it closes off another. Like... why...
