A lot of people just have to watch what they can over the air waves, and most of their viewership is probably people who fell asleep and left the tv on. Are there many "family friendly" shows as competition? Modern Family is done. Goldbergs is a throwback to those 90's family sitcoms. And really, not every fuckin show has to be a cultural icon on par with Friends or Seinfeld. Goldbergs is still on because enough people watch it to make the network money.
