I just dont like lettuce at all. Apparently romaine is decent, I guess Ill give that a shot.

I generally hate pickles on my sandwiches. but certain sandwiches, and sometimes as snacks though, good.

My go to salad
spinach
mandarin oranges
fresh berries
variety of nuts
poppyseed/ranch dressing
cheese

ill usually have a hard boiled egg with it, but not in it.

pretty basic, but damn tasty

Exactly. Avoided salads for years because of my hatred for lettuce. Then my wife made me a spinach based one and I was hooked. Arugula is another great base.

Spinach has this very strong iron taste that I hate, but it's definately more "healthy" than lettuce, which is usually my choice as a salad base.
