It's not so bad when you're ready for it, and if you're into plot-heavy games. I thought it was phenomenal at the time.

The real problem is that, just when the plot gets about as complex as it can possibly be, it starts to feel like they were running out of budget or starting to push up against deadlines, so the last part of the game feels super-rushed. Like you're suddenly on hardcore rails and the plot just kind of barrels straight into resolution.

Though even fewer people know about Kartia: The Word of Fate. In spite of the fact that it was an Atlus game with Amano art.

it's true people don't seem to talk about it as much even though it's supposed to be about as good as some of the greats.

my siblings played all the way to the end but I only got like a quarter the way through, or less. I wasn't enjoying it much so far. I'm not a big PS1 guy, SNES is where it's at for me.

I've owned Xenogears since at least 2002. It's a fun game but Xenosaga is better IMO.
Xenoblade is poo.
