The main story itself is kind of whatever but for me the real story is both Jude and Milla's personal journeys which really struck a cord for me. And that's enough to elevate an average story but I'm not gonna go super crazy with my ranking here!

Only got partially through this one. Wasn't bad, but wasn't endearing like Symphonia or gripping like Berseria.

Milla's story was great. Main negative was the DEM solution to the problem so there ended up being no real conflict in the end. Second negative was Milla's story not working as well on its own as Jude's.

There's no point where I actually really care, and the ending is a mess. Ironically the ending being a mess is less of a problem BECAUSE I don't care about the story. It's mostly completely innofensive.

The first hour of that last chapter is just embarrassing, though.

There were some very exciting stretches that got me really invested in the game, and I absolutely adork Leia, but overall it was uneven and the last stretch seems slipshod. It's a good game with interesting character dynamics but the plot overall is nothing special. It doesn't have the intricacy and world-building of Abyss or the endearment of Symphonia.

It's way better than Vesperia or Graces, though.

The game's story existing doesn't really make the game worse so it gets a free point. Then the time loop being a thing and the "rescuing the princess" being finished in the first hour is clever. It's clearly lacking overall though.
