Would you want to get to know that person? Do you think you'd love them? I was raised to think family was important, but many people I know don't like their families at all. My uncles and their wives have polar opposite opinions and can't really stand each other. Growing up, I always loved my older brother, but for some reason, we aren't close and I don't think he likes me. Maybe because of that, I've always thought it would be neat if I had a sister or brother I didn't know about and we ended up having the kind of close family bond I always wished for. Maybe it's as unrealistic as all those Disney romances?

Anyway, enough rambling. How would you react to a surprise sibling?

Him existing didn't really make much difference to me. My sister got the chance to video chat him a few times, but he died before I kould join in.

I have a half sister Ive never met.

Shes like ten years older than me, I probably have nieces and nephews Ive never met as well.

Found out in my 30s I have an older half-sister. I know nothing about her, not even her name, and that's fine with me.
