Legato-and-Vash 10/21/21 2:39:00 PM #1:	First let me say man, this anime definitely exceeded my expectations and is so good. But I'm confused on who Fraudrin's possession. In the flashback, he attemped to possess Dreyfus, but it didn't work because Dreyfus has too strong of a will. So it looked like he chose to jump in Hendrickson instead. And Dreyfus decided to play along with Fraudrin so that he doesn't harm Hendrickson. I may have missed something in that episode or got the details wrong since there were times I watched it late at night in bed. Earlier in the season, it seems Hendrickson is the mastermind the entire time. Dreyfus eventually decided to confront him. But of course we learn that Dreyfus was possessed the whole time. I would have assumed that Fraudrin had just jumped into Dreyfus after the fact, but Fraudrin shares the memories of Griamore as a child. So did Fraudrin possess both at the same time? Or was it a different entity that possessed Hendrickson? It's not just the whole thing feels kind of generic, but for a Netflix anime it just seems so low budget. There never any really cool, flashy, high budget, well animated fight sequences. Even the important stuff practically plays out like filler animation. I just don't understand how they could bank roll something like devilman crybaby and then turn around and make something this ugly. The qaulity of the animation drops worse than any other anime including early dragon ball super.
