they ask me how to do shit I've explained to them a bunch of times. and it's just stuff like them emailing me asking what they need to do for me to fix their forms. just submit a task on the opportunity for that deal so I can see all the details and documents.

there's another team of people who could do more of what I do but they don't know how. I have to do a training in a couple weeks because no one trained the people I work with. now, I received a lot of training, and our system is not user friendly at all, but it's messed up that no one trained this entire team and I have to pick up their slack. some of them just give up instead of trying and they'll submit a ticket for something I could have showed them how to do on their own in 30 seconds. that is just being rude.

I've had this job for six months and I'm already planning to quit. you can't fix a culture of people who don't want to learn.

I was IT at my old job and we made it a policy for supervisors and managers to train their team. IT are not trainers.

I'm not IT. I work adjacent to a finance team and work with sales people and customer success people. these people and their supervisor all started around the same time as me and no one trained them on shit.

When we subscribe to new software or anything new technology, we learn the product, write SoPs and then train the supervisors on how to use them. The supervisors would then teach it to their direct underlings.

Trickle down the training.

Give the users access to all the SoP articles and even video tutorials, direct them their direct managers for personal help, every resource you can give them on how to do their work properly.

If they still are unable to learn and grasp on then the issue is the user which ultimately will fall on the hiring manager who hired the dumbass.

I've seen this happened way too many times.

there are no SOPs. I have to write them so I can train them. this is multiple teams this applies to. I doubt their direct manager even knows how to use any of what we're using. my sales VP got mad when I told him to use the ticket system instead of calling, emailing, and messaging me at the same time.

Make the articles available for them and tell them to go by it. Make it as easy as you can to make it understandable.

There's gotta be a process or shits not gonna work imo.
