Are you the type if you hear about an illness, you think you have it too?

For instance, you read about someone dying from a rare form of cancer, and you notice you share the same symptoms like that person, do you immediately think, "Do I have this as well?" and start becoming anxious? Not just rare cancers, but any illness/diseases. Does WebMD scare you?

That's easy to find out though. Get a glucose monitor, or schedule a quick metabolic panel blood test.

So you're asking if you're a hypochondriac? Used to be, would dwell on it during elementary and middle school, thinking I had cancer or AIDS for some reason.

I agree with the other poster tho, I believe I could get hit with diabetes 2 from fam history

Kobe > LeBron. It's only internet stat nerds who think Lebron is better. Watch the games and stop calculating Lebron's PER with your wristwatch calculator.

If this was many years ago, I can see why diabetes could be scary. But nowadays, with medication, and better quality food out there, it is the least of the common diseases to worry about. And yes, you can live a full life of 90+ years old with it. It's when you don't care for yourself when you get diabetes, like still smoking, and drinking a liter of pepsi everyday, with cakes, and cookies, where shit starts to get terrible like heart disease, and amputations.

No. But Im definitely a hypochondriac to some extent. I just know myself enough to calm myself down and acknowledge there's a 98% chance Im just trippin again. I'll feel like Im sick as hell and still leave my house, cause I know I'll get over it at some point. I can't count howbmany times I questioned if what I was feeling was Covid. And that thought sends a ping throughout my body.
