However, I cannot find evidence that they actually are trying to ban these words. This whole things seems to start with this bill: https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/2021/related/proposals/ab411 And this testimony: https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/misc/lc/hearing_testimony_and_materials/2021/ab411/ab0411_2021_08_11.pdf Which says: "I have an addendum to my testimony that lists several of the different terms associated with critical race theory or the words that are part of the praxis of the theory. Yes, its extensive and you can tell a lot of this was created in legal academia, but the point of this legislation is to prohibit it from being taught in our government schools" To me that does not seem like it would be "banning" the words though.
