I'm the new guy around, so I get the honor of doing inventory observations. I honestly don't believe some of them ever saw someone white in person before. It's like the whole place stopped and stared at us. Was the city considered as dangerous back then? I really don't know if it's just something that was average and turned worse, or if it's always somehow been St. Louis' brother that St. Louis is even ashamed of. Also, everything was fine; not that bad of a drive since I was in the warehouse, and nothing was too dangerous there. The job itself...ehhhhhhh. Since I'm the new guy, I get to be sent on these inventory count trips (this being my 2nd one). I won't say anymore because I don't really want to give away where I was working due to the nature of my work.
