It never stops raining, homeless downtown are both dangerous and sad to see, and most of the people Ive ran into personally are not nice.

Seattle Underground Tour is a gem though.

I'm going to check out Portland for a few days later.

No reason to. Homeless only seemed to talk crazy, attack each other, or do drugs.

Everywhere I went required proof of vaccine too which was pretty cool. I wish that happened everywhere temporarily so itd convince enough people to get vaccinated.

Is it true the homeless in Seattle actually have a lot of money, just not enough to afford the high rent there?

I killed those guys because they were awful, everybody is awful these days.

I've lived in Seattle my whole life. You came into the rainy season so thats on you. July and August, I don't think we saw a day of rain then. But now it's pretty much going to rain till April-May.

The homeless part is a huge bummer. Some do make over two grand a month working but can't afford to love anywhere. I think I've seen someone in the news whos homeless and makes over four grand a month.

Never been into the underground tunnel. Always heard that was a highlight. If Beth's Cafe was open I'd suggest you go there. But I think it closed due to covid for now. It's a 24 hour breakfast place. Definitely one of the local favorites. Sad it's struggled these last two years.

Hope you enjoyed my city for the most. Ten years ago you or before you would have loved it. It's a shame what the city has turned into now.

Overall its been alright. Too much construction and the homeless situation really is sad. Reminded me of downtown LA. Getting outside of Seattle seeing the wilderness was pretty nice. I enjoyed the wine country side over in Woodinville.

Seattle is the only place where I had a homeless man follow me for about 2 blocks, screaming at me for not giving him money.

Its weird how the city is legitimately beautiful, yet also really sad to see so many people on the streets.

It was sad at first, but these homeless people have been offered services to help get them clean over and over but they always refuse and just set up camp somewhere else. They are choosing to live like this and the city council will do nothing to stop it.

I think a lot of it stems from mental health decline.

As others have said, bad time to visit the PNW. Ive lived in Seattle for 20 years and its an incredibly beautiful, diverse city. Unfortunately, it has declined significantly due to high cost, traffic and big businesses taking over in the past 5-7 years. Im planning to move out to another state next year but will keep my property with the hopes of returning in the future.

A couple instances come to mind. I remember one day I gave a homeless guy 20 bucks. I also him if he's going to use it on alcohol. He says no. About ten minutes later I'm walking down a sidewalk, with him across the street walking into a bar.

Another time I offered a guy a just purchased teriyaki meal that hadn't been touched with a bottle of water. He turned it down and asked if I had money.

And no more than a few months ago. I offered to purchase some food for a guy who always hangs around a stop in his wheelchair. He declines. I asked him if he wanted beer. To which he said yes to. He was honest right off the bat. And he seemed so disfigured from last injuries. I heard what the hell. Purchased him a few beers.

All of this was on aurora as well. And we're the nice incidents. I've had police called on nearly a dozen other situations.
