Yes they're currently filming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, but it will be part of the Bumblebee continuity.
In other media many of the BW characters have new toys in the ongoing Kingdom line (and upcoming Legacy line), and some were featured in the Netflix series of the same name. Reissues of the original Optimus Primal, Megatron, Cheetor, and Rattrap toys are out in stores as well. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I have the Kingdom release. He's a little odd, but alright. It was repainted into BW Grimlock and is sold in a 2-pack with Mirage.

The current Kingdom Megatron. He's got a couple of repaints as well. T-Wrecks (Target exclusive), and Tyrannocon Rex (the t-rex from Jurassic Park, comes in a 2-pack on Amazon)

I really wish theyd make more Masterpiece Beast Wars. The ones they put out are pretty much perfect (beast modes suffer, of course, but theres some that theres literally nothing you can do about it) but all the robot modes are damn near perfect.

I used to love the digital fanart for G1 Transformers in the 90s & early 00s. Really dark stuff. Like Virtua Fighter quality. But i cant seem to find the immediately on Google. Because Google sucks. my kid loves transformers but i can't find my old beastwars toys at my old house. saw a few at walmart the other day so i might pick them up for christmas. otherwise those smaller, ~$20 ones on amazon (wheeljack is the last one i got him) are a huge hit.

The fact that nobody has helped me is even more reason to find those images. Thats like one of the coolest gems in Transformers anything.
 well idk. back in the day it was an honor to know TF really started as a Japanese thing and was actually a comic first but they kinda planned the whole first... well... uh... arc Also UFO and Megatron were the best ones and if you loved Soundwave or Shockwave I bet you watched the show ... I imagine Rise Of The Beasts will feature ugly robots with basic generic characterisation that has barely any resemblance to the cartoon.

It was Inferno
I remember the PC game being amazing. Not the Transmetal fighting game, but the S1 game where you gotta run from Energon on a semi-sandbox map. The game form the first movie REALLY nailed then first level with Blackout. And i think the Xbox game Gunmetal did the transforming trick the best out of any game Ive played with the gimmick. I was peeved to find out that Tigertron was originally supposed to be Wolfang (my favorite Deluxe maximal) in the show but they cheaped out and modified Cheetor's model instead.
