2 years later when Disney released Return to Halloweentown, fans were surprised to see Marnie had been replaced where 33 y/o Sara Paxton took over the role and her character goes to College in the final film if the series. Brown now sets the record straight that it was not her choice to leave the franchise and said the entertainment business is crazy as things change on a dime and didn't really know why at the time Disney wanted a new Marnie but might have felt they wanted a more SEDUCTIVE looking Marnie where Brown was more reserved and bubbly. But she has no ill will toward Paxton and said she is awesome and was already a Disney actress who starred in Darcy's Wild Life. Brown still plays off her character for her fans as well as her husband, Halloween 2 co-star 43 y/o Daniel Kountz who played her nemesis in the movie. She and Daniel reconnected years later after the film and eventually fell in love and got married. Who's Hotter: Kimberley or Sara? whatever, the 4th one was easily the worst in the series. Though that isn't even necessarily Sara Paxton's fault. Why would you want a "sexier" main character for your children's movie? Not to mention she's supposed to be like 18. Seems like a weird choice to try targetting the inner creep of these kid's parents when they're gonna watch it anyways (and still gonna creep on Brown anyways) ... Copied to Clipboard!
