Everything was really dark and washed out. The big sandworm scene was unwatchable. Like, Battle of Winterfell level.

Not sure if it was the lighting or the post-processing, but I haven't seen anyone else mentioning it, so I'm assuming it was a projection problem at the cinema I went to.

Yeah it must've been the theater.

I mean I have seen some criticisms of the color grading but the extent of that is mostly that there's a lack of color or vibrancy.

probably a projection problem. I watched it on my close to a decade old samsung and it looked fine.

move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. Have sheep troopers squadrons A and B flank the cows. They're using DC-17 hoof blasters.

It was very sepia but I didn't have a problem actually seeing anything.

Its often really dark, but you can make out pretty much everything. There's a couple of scenes that were overly dark imo, but I think that was intentional.

Battle of Winterfell was really bad if you watched it as soon as it was available because everyone was streaming it at once and it looked like shit. It's watchable if you were to stream it now.

I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.

With HDR, it looked amazing. There was never a point where it ever felt too dark or anything.

The outdoor day scenes were definitely perfectly viewable. Though the insides were definitely pointlessly dark for no reason.

Well, shit, looks like I should ask for my money back. Really upsetting that my first time watching this incredible movie was marred by technical problems.
