30s & 40s were the best for Popeye
40s & 50s were the best for Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry
60s and 70s were the worst
80s was rather solid (Duck Tales, A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Inspector Gadget, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Alvin and the Chipmunks, etc.)
90s and early 2000s was the best; just a great variety of quality cartoons all around
