You would be surprised at how many people view this situation..if someone bought a friend a lottery ticket cause they didnt have the money to yet somehow hit it big, the person who bought it would generally think they DESERVE some if not all of the winnings since they bought it.

if a person buys someone a lottery ticket, and that ticket is a winner and they think they somehow deserve any of those winnings, that person is an idiot and needs to come off their bullshit and stop being a jealous greedy fuck

at the very instant the recipient was given that lottery ticket, any winnings became theirs, that's how giving people things works, and if you try to take back anything from them that resulted from the winning ticket, that's stealing, because that is how theft works
