Can't replace the SSD on either system.
Official Xbox expansions are only the memory cards - the USB 3.0 external storage solutions can only store Series X / S games, not play them.

PS5 uses standard m.2 NVME drives. Takes about 5-10 minutes to install internally, and counts as a second drive.

Doesn't matter. Pretty much all Gen IV SSDs run at the same speed on PS5. Digital Foundry tested it.

It will never be good enough for people who dislike control latency, because regardless of how fast your internet gets, you're still limited by the speed of light itself.

It's why I simply ignore anyone who implies otherwise. It can't be done. You can get the picture to be indecipherable from native, sure, but you'll never get rid of that ~100+ms control latency.

High frame rate FPS titles will always be crap on streaming services.
