NordVPN gets a lot of hate because they got hacked once, but I think they're great for the price.

Sometimes watching Netflix in other countries doesn't work on the first try, but I've tried another VPN where it didn't work at all.

NordVPN is always advertising a sale. I didn't go with them partly because of that... it's dishonest advertising. You can see for yourself - go to the website, it'll tell you how many hours, minutes and seconds are left. Keep it open for an hour. Then load the website in a different browser...

Anyway, I am sure the software is fine. I use ProtonVPN and I really enjoy that, but I'm also on the Proton ecosystem anyway so I'm kinda biased.

For dumb reasons, some Netflixes or other streaming services will not have the same content as other countries'.

Actually a better example is youtube. One example IIRC is an episode of Yu Gi Oh the Abridged Series that couldn't be watched in the US. Having a VPN solved that.

idk if they're dumb reasons, just costs a lot of money to get licensing for shows in different countries and it isn't always worth it if Teletubbies aren't gonna pull in a lot of viewers in Turkey.
