This was about a year ago, I was using the bathroom at Target, one guy comes in while I was washing my hands, says whats up man. Seemed ok. Then goes on a long rant about people wearing masks, that the virus was fake, something about the Government, on and on, I zoned out, wanted to leave, but thought this guy may have been fucking insane, and that it was better to be polite, then to just leave and piss him off.

Oh man, I have a great story about my sister's wedding.

So my sister's wife's brother is a constitutionalist - he believes that anything that isn't written in the Australian constitution isn't applicable, and that the application of law outside of the constitution is illegal to enforce. He's been arrested for driving without a license and shit, really strange guy. After I stammered out half of a speech my sister wanted me to write, her reception had an open mic where anyone could say their piece and congratulate the pair on their marriage, and this guy wrote like a poem to commemorate the occasion.

So I go up to him after that and go like "hey that was a cool poem and stuff, pretty cool move", and he just fucking LAUNCHES into his constitutionalist beliefs. One thing he mentions is that he disagrees with the government's ability to collect our information, and that to collect that sort of information without the public's knowledge is like a crime against humanity. I have my own critical views of government surveillance, but this guy was like full conspiracy weirdo y'know.

So after finishing his ramble about how the government shouldn't have access to our data, he goes out onto the dancefloor with his friends, pulls out his phone and opens Snapchat.
