They want $346 a month at the minimum for me to have coverage that I wont use enough to make it worthwhile. Deductibles still being a thing when you already pay monthly adds to the scam.

I think its funny when they count deductions to lower your rates they only count things like children and student loans. Fuck me if I have a house payment with electricity and heat cause having a home in America isnt in the same realm as having a child or student loan.

Guess Ill continue to hold out till its either free or Im 65 lol

Medicare, as it currently is, isn't the greatest either. At least I can say that much for Prescription Drug Plans (Medicare D). So really everyone is getting screwed until our government gets their head out their butts and socializes healthcare.

I don't mind paying for healthcare but it should remain accessible.

Medicare Part D plans are somewhat complex to the point where it's a normal occurrence that the elderly who have these plans have no idea why their copays are so high from year to year. I find it kind of scummy, actually.

Part D plans have deductibles (most of them do anyhow), but then the plans also keep track of your out of pocket spending and if you hit a certain amount, you enter the donut hole where all your copays can shoot way up. You can potentially hit catastrophic coverage after a certain point in the donut hole, which then would cause the plan to cover things better again, but what's the point of all this? It's confusing for no reason at all.
