I'm not about that life, but I know guys that are. Not sure why it's so idolized in rap culture. One of my childhood friends has been in jail for decades now. Also had a friend almost die from a drive-by (one of his friends died) Shit's stupid.

Not me. I grew up in the early 90's and I have had cousins who have done hard time for killing a boy when they were in their teens. The first time I ever played Sonic 2 and Street Fighter 2 was on their stolen Sega Gensis. I'm lucky I didn't get sucked into that life to be honest.

I just found out that the karaoke bar that I frequent is a crip bar and they crip whistle all the time.

Of course the pitbull didn't exist, and he was just trying to steal from him. The dealer smelled bs right away, punched my friend and knocked him down. Got him in the car and started hauling ass, while dude was shooting "at" us

Some shots seemed kinda close but I think it was mostly him emptying a mag as a warning

Personally I've known some people who might have known some people

When my dad was still alive he personally knew every big named mobster in the 80's-90's and had even had dinner with Russell Buffalino every weekend at some point in time.

He never told me too much about it though, and always insisted that he wasn't in the mafia(currently)

He also knew a lot of people who got out or were away from it now and so on too who he kept in touch with before he died of covid recently.

I really wish he was willing to tell me more before he died.

I knew plenty of people in gangs and people about that life, I was always too scared to make my mom upset so Id dip out anytime something was about to happen. Plus, my favorite color is blue and that wouldnt have worked out.

Could and can still throw up blood with my fingers in like a split second, always enjoyed that.
