There's like a 1 in 50000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 chance that the molecules in both your hand and table can miss each other.

It's not because physical collision with atoms isn't what stops your hand from going through the table but rather strong / weak force.

It's arguable that certain statistical "possibilities", i.e.:

1 in 50000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Are just another way of expressing "ZERO."

As in, this will never happen in this universe if you start slapping now and go until all the matter in the universe is lost to heat energy. If you could slap a million times faster, and had the entire life of the universe you would still never witness a quantum flux this big.

Similarly, nothing stops a random group of molecules, say, a stack of pizza boxes, from reforming as, let's say, a living, breathing, duck.

But it doesn't happen, it has never happened, and it never will happen.
