Makes me dislike the film even more, if that's possible. This is perfect for those that are curious, but will never bring themselves into actually watching the whole shit show. In short summary, yeah, this one may have just killed the whole franchise for good.

They one review I read said the child actor was a passable replacement for Caulkin, but the script was horrible. Also, the two thieves have a sympathetic backstory for some reason. They are supposed to be like looney toon characters that you laugh at when they get hurt.

So yeah, I'll skip this.

I just don't get how whoever can come up with some of the choices made for this movie even if it's just a cheap cash in. The meta humor and references especially. It just makes the movie appeal to nobody.

The first movie was legitimately good. Every subsequent entry has been a step down in quality though.

Home Alone 2 is almost worth it just for having Tim Curry as an antagonist.

And that one guy who said down the hall and to the left. I forget who he is though. Im sure he would have had some relevance in 2021 if he were an actual somebody. He looked like the kind of guy who would never amount to anything in life.
