There was a man in my town who owned two restaurants before the pandemic.

Now he owns one restaurant and the site of his other one is now a Chick-fil-A.

My town's only movie theatre is on the verge of closing if the current restrictions continue to be put in place. It will be devastating if it shuts down, I've been there hundreds of times since childhood.

My tiny town doesn't have many businesses but they all stayed open. It's mostly convenience stores though like Exxon and a couple mom and pop joints.

We had a small gaming store (board and card games) that closed during the start of the pandemic. Not sure if closed, or just changed location. No business seems to stay in that spot for longer than 2 years.

There was a pinball barcade called The Silverball Saloon I learned about and intended to go to for my birthday last year, but the shit hit the fan with lockdowns right around that time. Five months later they announced they were out of business for good.
