Recently, I get dreams where I can "hover" a lot.

It's like flying, but I'm like knee level, off the ground. I either have to bellyflop towards the ground or jump and "land" on my ass to initiate the hovering. Balancing on my belly is scary because my hovering abruptly ends sometimes and I don't want to eat pavement. So I'm usually hovering on my butt. The places I hover at are not all the same, so I could be at a Target in one dream, downtown in another, or on the beach (hence why I don't think these are reoccurring dreams). The location really depends on what was going on in the dream.

I always forget what these dreams are about though because I focus so much on hovering around. I know how to hover, but it takes a while for me to do it right. It might not even be hovering. I might be flying, but I'm afraid of going too high, so I subconsciously keep myself close to the ground. I don't know; I'm not really good at it yet.

from searching thru my dream journal these are the ones that come up more than 2 times

• "f-zero style" highways
• god
• dying sun / red sun
• abandoned by my friends in a stressful situation (e.g. foreign airport, trying to drive home from camping and my car won't start)
• forced feminzation (mostly before i started transitioning. although i had one last month where a nurse accidentally gave me an estradiol shot instead of a covid shot)
• moving/rotating buildings
• forgetting about a class and failing it
• unable to move while someone is abusing me or something stressful is happening
• video game characters being abusive to me
• unable to remember where the brakes are in my car/ brakes don't work
• general body horror (grotesque transformation into a monster / a machine, e.g. genitals replaced with USB port)
• profound-seeming sentences that make no sense when i wake up (e.g. "a void host avoid host a void host", "Why is the left mentally ill and a born their baby in my Back Yard?")
• repeated letters/numbers (most common seems to be number 9 and letter I. also just noticed as i typed that that I is the 9th letter of the alphabet o_O)
