My point is I think you guys are placing a lot of responsibility, intellect, and sinister intent on some dumb ass 18 year old who just went through a massive trauma and tremendous stress, when there's been overwhelming evidence he's nothing anyone has made him out to be, and more evidence he's just a dumb ass 18 year old.

Like you're at the point where he outright says "I don't support the Proud Boys and I fired my former lawyers because they made me hang out with them without me knowing" which aligns to what he and his LEFT WING DEFENSE ATTORNEY said and you're lumping him in with an actual nazi now.

I actually did go to an event at the WH in high school at the tail end of the Bush presidency (I didnt personally meet with him or anything, but I was in the same room with him). I didnt like Bush but it was a non-partisan thing and I dont regret it at all (and I got a really nice dinner out of it). I wouldnt have done it if it was the Trump White House, though.

The article/story is pretty wild. Like, if not for the EP becoming skeptical when he noticed the first draft of the movie's script differed so much from the memoir's account and deciding to launch his own investigation this wrongful conviction would not only have stood but probably wouldn't have even been on anyone's radar.

Biggest shocker of that article is an executive producer caring enough about the situation to try and investigate the guy to see if he was guilty. Also:

The actual culprit was almost certainly nowhere in that line-up to begin with.
Sounds more like the police couldn't find the guy she described and just chose Broadwater to be in the line-up instead and insisted on him even after she initially failed to identity him...

It is literally impossible for Gen Z to dunk on Dave Chappelle. I hadn't heard of anything about this, so I Googled and read the first two results.

A kid called him "childish". LOL. Literally repeating their parents, I guarantee it. Does anyone here think that affected him even slightly?

One of the articles suggested his recent criticism wasn't solely based on his recent special, but more about a history of his jokes about the LBGTQ+ community. I don't know anything about his history on that topic, but I did watch the ending of that special that caused the controversy.

It's...difficult for me to sympathize. Comedy is...comedy. Nobody is especially victimized in comedy. That's why it's called comedy.

I've lived most of my life avoiding politics. As I grow up etc. I care more and while I still feel I lean left on most things.......
