I'm back with another Mountain Dew review. Of all the recent flavors of Dew that has come down the pipeline, most have left me underwhelmed.

With the holiday season upon us we are blessed with yet another flavor from Mountain Dew. For a limited time only the festive flavor of gingerbread is on offer with Mountain Dew Gingerbread Snap'd.

The clear-white color of this new flavor had me second guessing my purchase. In all of the promotional materials for this flavor, the soda itself had a brown, cider-like appearance to reflect the flavor of gingerbread. However the version of Gingerbread Snap'd that I tried was a cloudy white much like the limited Mountain Dew White out flavor. Much to my surprise, I really enjoy the new flavor. As advertised, the spicy flavor of gingerbread greets your tastebuds along with what I can only describe as the slight hint of citrus lime.

Due to the promotional nature of this flavor, I don't see it becoming an overnight sensation like Voltage or Baja Blast though I do recommend giving it a try before the holiday season is over. I found it to be quite the enjoyable holiday treat similar to Pepsi Holiday Spice of years past. If for nothing else, the novelty of this flavor is definitely worth a try.

I saw this at the store and wanted to try but they only had it in the 12 pack and no way was I buying 12 cans of a suspicious new flavor lol. But I did great a single bottle of the voodoo mystery flavor, which may be fun. If I find a single bottle of this one, Ill give it a try! Thanks for your review!

I just tried the 20oz. bottle when I was buying gas. I'm going to pick up a 12-pack when I go shopping, if it's in stock.

I made the mistake of buying a twelver of Thrashed Apple, which is the literal worse flavor of Dew I've ever had. Yuck.

Nah, tastes like what gingerbread smells like. It is the LaCroix of gingerbread.

Only it's much sweeter than LaCroix. It is Mtn Dew after all.

i ask because i can't handle the usual artificial sweeteners. (artificial flavors are fine). and there's been at least one random dew flavor that only came out with them, but wasn't labeled as diet. i was... unhappy.

I think you're taking about Dew ICE. Yes, it was terrible. None of that going on with this one.
