I love it. Fingerprint reader and charging suck but the camera is amazing and you get all the Pixel intelligence throughout the phone experience.

The charging is fine, but it's just not the 30W that was advertised. Going from a 3a to a 6 has been huge. The battery life is ridiculously long and the adaptive charge feature is really nice if you're one of the people who charge overnight.

I went from the 4xl to the 6 normal.
It's faster and has a much nicer camera, but not much has changed in terms of phone experience.

That said, I like it a lot.

I'm coming from 65W charging. I could hook up my low-battery OnePlus 8T, walk away for a few minutes, and come back to see it's already at 30%. Whole thing charges in 45 minutes or so.

The Pixel 6 takes about 2 hours. 99% of people won't even have the right charger or heavy enough cable to charge at the fastest speeds.

it's gotten pretty good reviews and it keeps selling out. Bestbuy has a sale going on right now. $100 off if you activate with them and get an additional $50 off with certain carriers (att, Verizon?).

Too bad the pro versions aren't on sale. But tbqh, I find it hard to justify an extra $300 from going 1080p to 2k screen, 4x Zoom, 4GB more RAM and .3 inches more screen, when you can get by with the regular one with $100-150 off right now. But then again they also have a 12 MP front camera and an additional back camera as well. I really only cared about the 4x zoom and the 2k screen.

The hardware is always half-assed, but I can't argue with constant updates and feature drops. There's also the beta cycle, which is fun.

The curved screen kills the Pro for me.

I am a bit concerned about what will go into the Pixel 7 and how closely it'll hug Samsung.

The new chipset is neat for security. It also feels super fast and responsive.

I got mine straight from Google, so my bill is $20 flat and it's unlocked.

For once the actual SoC is competitive vs other Android leading brand phones, especially on the GPU. The CPU is okay. They finally updated their camera sensor and increased the quality of the resolutions of their camera.

Since I work from home it doesn't bother me at all.
Outside of that, using it for Google maps in the car I haven't had any issues/spottiness, but I only got the phone and car last week so I'm not the most experienced with either haha.

Also for the Flexible plan it's capped at $60 for data per month, so a maximum bill of $80. That's still cheaper than what I was paying for Verizon before.

Im also looking for a good 2nd phone, in my case to retire a Pixel 3. Think Ill wait for the 6a. I heard it will have a tensor chip, so I hope they dont exclude too many software features. Well see how much worse the camera is.

My uncle just got a pixel 6, compared to my pixel 5 i was suprised by just how large it was, seems larger than my old 3XL.

One thing I don't like is how they got rid of the rear fingerprint scanner again, I hope they bring it back for the 7

yeah I hate that too. Totally unnecessary. I fear they will move on with that, cause it will save them money. Maybe they should do face ID.

I'm tempted to wait a other year and see if my 2xL lasts 5 years, but I dunno

So is the pixel 6 as good or better than a note 10 plus?

Reason I ask this is because I actually downgraded from a Note 10+ non 5g to a pixel 4a5g and realized my town doesn't have proper 5g, I actually disable 5g because when connected to LTE+ it's actually faster.

That being said I was probably gonna head back to the note, because this latest UI they added in new update honestly sucks. I hate it lol but if this exact UI works on the pixel 6, I might consider it

The regular pixel 6 is a great phone, especially with the $100 off at bestbuy and $50 more (if you have at&t).
