This whole custom keyboard thing involves too much waiting and scalping.

I just bought a Mr suit ($600) keyboard which is like a rolex of keyboards. sounds very nice but man, never buying something like this ever again.

Still rocking a Model-M from the 80s. Or I would be if I actually needed to.
The thing has had half a bottle of Guinness poured into it, and the spacebar has been repaired with part of a coat-hanger, but it still works great. Just needs a PS/2 to USB adapter, which I'm to lazy to go buy.

Build quality and customization aspect. I'm very happy with mine but I only paid $85 for a basic mech keyboard with a color style I liked. Not knocking those people like TC who's made it a hobby but damn can it get expensive if you make it your hobby.

I'm using like a $150 Corsair RGB keyboard and not gonna lie, I love this thing to death.

I'm gonna be rolling with Corsair in the future.

Just stay away from mechmarket and do your own thing. But if you are actively scalping on mechmarket then its a really stupid hobby.

I got my mechanical keyboard for about $100. I have to have a pulsing rainbow under my fingers or what's the point.

Not all mech keyboards do the RGB thing though which imo looks cool and dumb at the same time.
