I've just beaten Hades and Bloodborne to death. I am wanting to play something closer to Diablo with skill trees and classes. I am kind of burned out on Diablo itself. I remember playing a "hammerdin" in Diablo II, and thinking the game was ridiculously easy. I played Diablo III a lot, but it was glitchy, crashed, online play was laggy with desyncs. It got better after awhile, but it just felt like I was killing the same boss over and over "for legs."
Any suggestions? Please help. --- "Oh, you think lag is your ally. You merely adopted lag. I was born in it, molded by it. I didnt have cable until I was already a man." ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Dragon's Crown Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning Recommended, in that order Dragon's Dogma mostly feels like Diablo when going through the Bitterblack Isle. Dragon's Crown feels the most like Diablo in terms of how focused it is on randomized level-based loot drops, but is technically more of a side scrolling beat 'em up (but has 6 classes to choose from and can be built differently depending on the skills you upgrade). Amalur has 3 classes with various skills and you can be purely one class or mix and match as you like, and re-spec for money. A lot of gear is crafting-based, but also sometimes random loot gives the best stuff. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Path of Exile is an obvious recommendation if you haven't played it before, though I know the PS4 version used to have severe performance issues. The dragon age and mass effect games may be of interest to you.

Diablo 2 is a harder game than 3 especially if you don't stick with the most ridiculously OP builds no matter gear.
