Although, my other big annoyance is how you aren't allowed to be excited over something without people mocking you for it. You have to play everything off as "cool" nowadays. You show any sort of emotion over something, and people say you're taking things too seriously.

The world is literally better now than it has ever been in human history, on a vast scale. It is also not the job of billionaires to hold up the poor any more than it is yours to support the millions of people that live with orders of magnitude less than you do. Also, they do donates millions and billions of dollars every year, so I don't know where this idea even comes from.
