It's because most of us likely have dealt with some sort of trauma and had some bad experiences with people like betrayal/loss of trust etc. that has made us this way. Not everyone will understand. I think it comes down to the way people are raised and if they get a chance to raise themselves a little in a good environment for awhile. Although there does seem to be some serious debate about whether or not people can change, past a certain age, if ever, nature vs nurture, and whether anyone truly has free will these days.

Seems like semantics, and how does one differentiate being angry and pissed off about horrible shit from being fatalist?

Though it feels like most nihilists and fatalists aren't doom and gloom. Unlike me, they pretend that's just how the world is and that they can shut out the world beyond them.

I have to agree Doom_Fart.

Although, my other big annoyance is how you aren't allowed to be excited over something without people mocking you for it. You have to play everything off as "cool" nowadays. You show any sort of emotion over something, and people say you're taking things too seriously.

The world does suck but it's not the responsibility of the rich to look out for the poor. Don't have a good source of income then don't have children. Problems keep increasing because population keeps increasing.
