The whole Angel sequence when Angela is asking him about following a hunch felt so clunky.

I knew a cop who always followed hunches. Her name was Debra Morgan. She had a brother, too. And her brother had a son. And his sons name was uh oh, Harrison.

I liked seeing Angel again, but that was some lazy ass writing. Things might get interesting in the next episode, though.

If youre going to quote shitty dialogue, make sure its the exact shitty dialogue.

This is made slightly more plausible if you assume he had to wait around for SWAT. But still took me out of it.

But asspulling is key to the Dexter narrative, so I'm not sure this type of thing shouldn't be expected.

Didnt expect for things to escalate so quickly in this episode. The angel thing was kinda cheesy and ridiculous, but hasnt that been this shows thing? lol

Yeah its something thats plagued Dexter since its inception. Still probably my favorite episode of the season, though. Dexters quick thinking when the cops pull up right as hes syringing the guy had me cracking up.

Yeah... I just watched it and while getting to see Angel again was great, him randomly going off on a rant starting from Deb to Dex to Harrison was really stupid. Literally nobody would just go off like that out of nowhere to someone they just met wtf lol

I could buy Dex having time to set up the crime scene since I assumed Logan was just chilling there waiting for backup.

Whats even sillier is that it would make her look into Dexter at all. Like, ok some random detective across the country had a brother that had a kid with a common name that happens to be the same, so? lol

Yeah or even also getting a warrant or something (or the ok from whatever higher-up). Though I wish theyd shown at least a little bit of Dexters frantic clean-up.
