Even though I have an XBOX I am not playing infinite until I replay all the Halo games. And I still got 2, 3, 4, 5, and Halo Wars 2 to playtrhough, so I won't get to Infinite until July or so.

Wait what? Everyone I've talked to has been thrilled with how the multiplayer feels. Progression is shit that can be changed easily.

lol the Halo subreddit had to shut down because the mods were tired of everyone complaining. i saw that there was an official reponse about the battlepass and it was basically deal with it we gotta make money so i dunno if its going to be easy to fix lol.

Its a literal shit show. 343 dropped the ball with 4 and 5 a bit but multiplayer was still great. Infinite on the other hand jfc. Worst guns in the entire series, worst progression, no modes, no player collision. It's awful.

I think going gamepass day 1 was their reason to justify it. Profits would be fine no matter what, it's still Halo. But now they have an excuse.

Every game has a review embargo to be fair to reviewers lol. It's only worrying if the embargo is the same as release day.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with how the multiplayer has been handled so far. Hope they make some big changes. Now, I'm not even sure if I want to spend $60 on just the campaign.

343 does deserve blame though. I'm sure some upper level Microsoft morons were responsible for a chunk of it, but you said it yourself. This is just how 343 works. The good thing about that is that Infinite will almost certainly improve over time. And I've been optimistic about the campaign this entire time. Maybe I'm wrong, but I really do feel like it will be a good one.

Also, the guns are mostly fine, so I don't really agree with that point. Some of them do need some tweaking, and they need to add more down the line (the classic Shotgun being most obvious). But right now I'd say the general gameplay is really good. There's just a number of things that need fixing.

Campaign might be equally as disappointing as multiplayer. Open world sounds really fun for co-op, but unfortunately it is only single player. And you can't go back and replay specific missions in campaign without restarting the whole campaign from the start. I heard it is still pretty good though.

Game is still alot of fun on multiplayer. Have had some insanely fun games of oddball, CTF, etc.

Looks like the campaign is getting great reviews. Swinging around like Spider man in a Halo open world sounds like a blast. Odd choice not to be able to replay missions though... I would think they could patch that in though.

Hopefully fully offline bots for multi are patched back in at launch.
