Minecraft can get pretty damn startling at times digging into a cave and then all of a sudden something comes from behind to get ya.

Not exactly "scary", but the cave diving parts of Endless Ocean used to make me breathe funny. Combination of claustrophobia and being underwater. I can handle either one alone but the combination is a bit too much, I guess.
