Just one of many recent laws our government is trying to push through. This is just one of the numerous laws that give them far too much control and dive deep into fascism.

At least along with numerous corruption scandals people are fed up. Just not with these fascist laws, but we'll see if anything changes come election period. It won't, the Tories will have cleaned up, honest - can you imagine what would have happened with Labour in power anyway?!

But hey! They just need to say they are doing it to protect the children or protect British people and the entire country would run in front of a bus without hesitation.

Yup. And that's what they'll use as a reason - "To get rid of terrorists", so will receive unanimous support.

Because if they're no longer British, we can apparently pretend they are no longer our problem and someone else has to deal with them for us.

I did some self harm during that period and read a whole lot of daily mail youtube comments sections. Let's just say that people are really fucking braindead empty skull stupid, if you get what I mean

I doubt the Tories actually care/want it back. They just know it plays great with large parts of Britain, so much so that drumming it up will make vast amounts of people throw away their own self interest and vote Tory.

No matter how much the Tories openly and consistently, only pass laws that hurt them.

lmao and people were defending the UK over that for some reason. Like you can just dump your criminals in other countries and it's supposed to be their problem.

People loved the revenge porn aspect I think. The average person has a worringly poor understanding of what justice even is. "bad person get rekt" was the entire summary of about 50% of british opinion on it.
