Kraven's Last Hunt from 1987.
Kraven hunts Spiderman, shoots him dead, bury him, starts wearing a copy of Spidermans suit and runs around in New York pretending to be a more brutal Spiderman.
He captures Vermin (superpowered humanoid rat villain), which Spiderman needed the help of Captain America to capture in the past.
Two weeks later, Spiderman digs himself out of his grave, and it is revealed that he was shot with a tranquilizer dart. He confronts Kraven, who releases Vermin. Vermin almost kills Spiderman, but is stopped by Kraven in the last moment. Vermin runs away. Kraven says that he is done, he has proved that he is superior to Spiderman so he walks home. Spidey hunts down Vermin.
Kraven kills himself with a rifle and leaves a confession that he was the brutal Spiderman, with evidence that clears Spidey.

They also made a What If story some years later where Kraven used real bullets and killed Spidey.

I would have preferred this Kraven story 1000x over this member berry filled movie we got coming out.

I would love to see a depiction/adaptation of the Ultimate version of Kraven.

A reality show star like Crocodile Hunter or Swamp People, but he's a total asshole off-camera
