Both really. If you're not feeling creative you can easily just play the thousands of levels already created by others. It plays exactly how you'd expect each version of Mario to play

both. i've never bothered making my own level but i've spent a bunch of time playing levels other people made (which is why i bought the game).

A lot of great games listed itt.

I would add Luigi's Mansion 3 myself. Great game. Monster Hunter Rise is also quite good.

And Mario + Rabbids. Good af and usually cheap af, with great DLC.

I'll throw in Mario Party Superstars if you have friends (the new one, not Super).

You can choose the difficulty you're looking for. Some are literally "just hold right" easy, while others are crazy difficult. And there's lots in between those difficulties. It still blows me away what some people are able to come up with.

There are plenty of every type of level you can imagine. And you can search by difficulty

you can also favourite certain creators which was useful for me after I had played a lot. So you can go to your favourites tab and then you see the newest levels by those makers.

Thats pretty neat. So far Im definitely planning on grabbing maker and Odyssey. Feel like I gotta lol

next will probably be Kirby or Metroid. But that Hades looked pretty cool too

Hades is also on the PC and PS4 (the version I have), btw, so I'd look into which version performs the best.

I suspect they all play well, though.

Yeah Ill probably end up grabbing that on a stronger console. But I guess I havent had any limitations on the switch, in terms of lagging due to graphics or whatever

Completely different. It's like Ghostbusters meets Mario. Luigi has a special vacuum that sucks up ghosts. You explore a large Mansion that has different biomes on different floors. And there's puzzle solving as well. I enjoy it, but it's not for everyone.

Games like that, Overcooked, and the like, arent really my cup of tea.

I dont mind tasks in games when they feel like quests, but dont really vibe with micro-managing type games.

It's one big mansion (well it's a hotel, technically) with over 15 floors. So the levels are each floor.

For the King - turn-based dungeon crawler you can play with up to three friends at a time, both couch co-op and online. Excellent game, super underrated
Mega Man X Collection 1 - Mega Man X holds up, but X5 onwards? lmao no
Slay the Spire - it's a card-based roguelike, where your attacks and abilities are cards shuffled into a deck. Sounds boring as shit, but I played one round and I was hooked for life
Rayman Legends
Abzu
Night in the Woods
Steamworld Dig 1 and 2
Ace of Seafood
