Hell yeah. That's the version I own, too. You'll probably want to remap the controls, though. For some reason, I think it's the shoot button that's on B by default, but it feels way, way more natural on the GameCube controller if it's mapped to Y instead.

I dont have a PS2 anymore so I got the Gamecube version.

Not that I didn't want the Gamecube version. That is the one I've been wanting but its do darn expensive lately. My Gf had to pay $30 for hers.

I got lucky. I bought mine like 12 years ago right in the sweet spot when GameCube games had dropped in value due to age but hadn't crept back up due to collectors.

I paid $17.99 for mine at Gamestop lol

Yeah, also keep in mind this was $30 for a disc with a blank case, one with a normal case was like $50 something and a new one was 70+ I think.

I remember on the Megaman collection it was A to shoot and B to jump. Which psycho designed that? I couldn't reconfigure it, either.

pretty cool. i never looked at the prices. i've owned both collections on ps2 since they were pretty new. beat pretty much all of them. i never beat 7 or 8. then on x i know i beat the first 4. can't remember if i finished 5 or quit at the end. i know i never finished 6. 6 was pretty brutal from what i remember.
