23 y/o Amandla Stenberg, the social justice activist and actress who made her debut in 2012 as Rue in the Hunger Games at 12 will now star as the lead in Disney+ live action Star Wars series!! Her character is kept under wraps and will be the first for an african american to lead a Star Wars franchise. She will star in The Acolyte, a live action star wars that hails from Leslye Headland that takes place in the final days of the High Republic era of the Sar Wars timeline and will focus on the emergence of secretive dark side powers.
