In your opinion, is it still fun for fans and casuals?

Raiding still is, but all the shit you gotta put up with to do it is really grating. All the daily chores have worked thus far, because the endgame content is still fantastic, but all it's gonna take is one slip up and it's over. One less than mediocre raid tier, and the million subscribers still remaining are all gonna bolt.

I've played off and on (and I mean like year+ breaks) for 12.5 years, and I've been casual since Firelands really, aside from some raiding again in early Legion. Mostly just been an AH goblin for a couple years when I do play. It still has its appeal, but that may also be because I've invested so much into it. Shadowlands has massacred my realm's population though, which is pretty disheartening lol.

I have fun as a casual but usually I just play like the first few months of an xpac, then take breaks and come back for a month or so for major patches.

I got less and less impressed with it over a long period of time, and then I finally quit about a week and a half ago, after playing for 17 years. I don't see myself going back unless something absolutely amazing happens. The game stagnated after Legion and hasn't shown any signs of significant improvement.
