Canadian support for Ukrainian nazis goes all the way back to WW2, when the then Liberal party government opened Canada's doors to Ukrainian nazi and holocaust collaborators, including members of the 14th Grenadier Division of the Waffen SS, aka the Galicia Division, and the grandfather of Christia Freeland, the current deputy prime minister of Canada. In Ukraine, her grandfather Mykhailo Khomiak was editor in chief of Krakivs'ki Visti, a Nazi propaganda paper with exposure from Joseph Goebbels himself.
