Some of my dad's best advice was the "5 day rule". Essentially when you contract germs it takes up to 5 days (7 at most if you have a good immune system), before you begin showing symptoms. However on day 4 you become contagious. It's within those 4-6 days your body has to naturally fight the infection off before it takes hold. I looked back on this for years when I got sick and it always worked. For one example I recall working one day in a grocery store aisle when a woman about 5-10ft away began coughing and wasn't covering her mouth. I walked away for a moment but had to get back at it. I had a trip coming up but had the feeling I'd get sick. Low and behold just 5 days later I started showing symptoms. Good thing I was taking echinacea pills prior to as it helped reduce them. --- http://air-hammer.deviantart.com/ ... Copied to Clipboard!

So to break it down if she was contagious last night and you contracted it you'll start showing symptoms on Sunday (next Tuesday at latest), unless your body beats it. --- http://air-hammer.deviantart.com/ ... Copied to Clipboard!
