In an interview with People, the 25-year-old actor discussed his future after Spider-Man and revealed he has his sights set on becoming a dad. Ive spent the last six years being so focused on my career, he told the outlet. I want to take a break and focus on starting a family and figuring out what I want to do outside of this world. Tom went on to say hes always loved the idea of being a parent, and even said hed want to become a teacher if he wasnt an actor. I love kids. I cant wait to be a dad I can wait, and I will, but I cant wait, the Marvel actor explained. If Im at a wedding or a party, Im always at the kids table hanging out. He added that his own father has been a great role model, and said he likely gets his love of kids from him. Tomalso said of his years spent playing Spider-Man, Ive loved every minute of it. Ive been so grateful to Marvel and Sony for giving us the opportunity and keeping us on and allowing our characters to progress. Its been amazing. At the end of the day his personal life should be more important to him than some superhero movies he stars in.
