Absolutely. Theres no shortage of people in dead-end positions who made it big (let alone just made it to being comfortable) after 40. Some after 50/60. its never too late. Just identify what you want and work towards it, if you live anywhere with biotech, jump into that industry using whatever experience you have. If you really dont have sales/service/finance/management/IT/etc then go for manufacturing which requires 0 experience and pays well.
