how do i get an s-rank social link with alicia

is there a way to know when i have enough relationship with a girl to get her special event at the end of the game or is it still hidden like all the other trails games

also i am regretting spoiling myself of a bunch of cold steel stuff while playing sky and crossbell -_-
like fuck dude

is there anything important/missable with fishing? it seems like you get a limited number of "free fishes" and then have to buy more bait at the store with u-material or something? should I be resetting for any rare fish or something?

It's been forever since I played, but I think in CS1 it's just enough link xp and then one other thing to unlock their event. A bonding event on a certain day near the end, another event where you can choose someone to come along, or using some tickets during an event that should be obvious when you get there.
I don't remember much about fishing, but I'm pretty sure you can catch any you might have missed at the end of the game.

i think maybe playing this game on nightmare for my first run might be a mistake? its not as hard as Trails to Azure was (i restarted on a lower difficulty during the prologue since I couldn't beat the boss). like this boss for the first practical exam just wrecks my shit. casts an AOE art, and its fast so I don't have any turns to dodge. It think 1HKOs Rean or Elliot if it hits them, only Gaius can survive with a sliver of HP

Cold Steel is considered the least liked arc of the series for a reason.

maybe but the other games were 9 and 10's, so even if this is an 8 its fine?

Yeah, that's why I chose my words carefully and said "least liked" because even though the Cold Steel games might have the most issues in terms of it's writing, they aren't bad games imo.
