I am feeling kind of lonely today, I get jealous when people talk about having tons of friends, but then when I have opportunities to make friends, I just feel annoyed and don't actually want to talk to most people. It's an unfortunate paradox. One of my friends who basically was a shut-in seems to have gotten rid of his shame about himself, and now has lots of friends. They actively encourage me to stay with them and don't ever pressure me about anything, so they're definitely fine with it. Obviously there is a limit to what I can ask for, but they do typically take care of getting me things I need or want if I don't ask for a lot.
